The biggest downside to the free license is the limited meeting time of 40 minutes. With the free license, you can host up to 100 individuals and host an unlimited number of meetings.

Zoom offers a lot of great features for both free and paid licenses. We have been researching which software works best for us and will be sharing some of the pros and cons below for each. We have ventured out and are testing Zoom currently and we are finding that each software has its advantages and disadvantages. Often other companies have issues with Skype, as do we, and a new form of online conferencing needs to be found.

When it comes to connecting with other individuals/companies via conference call, we have found that Skype is not always the best choice. Skype allows us to communicate with other team members quickly and easily whether that be through messages or 1 on 1 call.

At Perception Engineering we have historically used Skype for all of our internal communication but recently we have been re-evaluating which software will work best for us.
