On macOS specifically, Firefox now has native appearance to the context menus. The UI chrome or the general appearance of the user interface surrounding the browser window has also been made more minimal and clutter-free.įirefox has also received a new coat of paint for its menu designs, which like the rest of the browser are now less square and have a more organic and modern look.Įven the notification prompts have been redesigned and also have specifically been optimized to reduce some of the re-prompting associated with sites like Google Meet. Mozilla says they detached the tab to 'invite you to move, rearrange and pull out tabs into a new window to suit your flow, and organize them so they’re easier for you to find.' Firefox 89 features a new floating tab design that has a more fresh and modern look. The primary change can be seen right away with the new tab bar. The new update brings with it a brand new interface that changes practically every visible aspect of the venerable desktop browser.
